My Digha Trip

On 15th April we have visited to Digha. Digha, a small town, is crowded with hotels generally around one main road. Its proximity to Calcutta (187 kms)

We were five ppl visited to Digha. Bansal, Amit, Chelapati, myself and Satya.

There is on direct train to Digha fron Howrah. So, we board to a local train for Santragachi (15 minutes from Howrah). From there we got a express tarin @ 8 AM.

On the way to Digha the side scene were looks very beautiful n' it was full of green field.

@last around 11.35 AM we have reached to Digha. After searching lots of hotal we came to know that every hotal is already booked. Finally we got two rooms in Hotal Purvasa. After lunch, @ 3.30 we landed to Digha beach. That day sea at Digha was calm with low tide and shallow for about a half mile from the beach.

Satya advise me to title this pic as "Rang De Basanti". I still wondring why "Rang De Basanti" (Satya pls explain us buddy).

We reached to hotal from beach @ around 6.30 PM. We all have taken bath n' ralax a bit and get ready once again for dinner and beach.

We have taken the dinner @ around 8.00 PM near to beach.

Morning again we reached to beach.

Sunday morning was fully clouded. So tied was very high.

Next day we went to Shankerpur. Its 10-12 k.m. from Digha. This is also famous for beach. But here (ppl says) you will get 'red' crab. We have also seen the crab. They were very small and believe me that was not @all red.

Very beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing your trip experience. Along with a plethora of commercial and crowded beaches, the city also has a plethora of virgin and unexplored beaches. The Udaipur beach is haven for people seeking solace and quiet, the spectacular and uncharted beach offers a splendid view of the sunset. Check out all best hotels in Digha also.
