On the way to Belur Math

With my "sweetheart" -- my camera-- few days back, on a fine & sunny Sunday, I have visited to Belur Math. Taking pictures were strictly prohibited inside the campus of this "AMAZING" math. So all the pictures which I am gonna publish here are taken from a small boat which take me to this Math from Dakshineswar station through Ganga river. Let me add some of the pix here and describe what I know about this temple.
Belur Math is the headquarters of the related organisations the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission located almost just across the Ganga River near Dakshineswar, Howrah, West Bengal. Thats' it-- I dont know more then this temple. :) :)
One thing I'm not able to show here is the Garden of this campus. As I said, photography were not allowed inside of the campus, I couldn't able to make out any position outside the campus from where I can take any pix of the garden. But believe me, that was really very beautiful garden. if you are in Kolkata and you love flower--as I do-- you should go and see that.

The bank of Ganga is really very eye catching. various kind of ppl doing lots of things like, they were taking bath, pray to god, wash them self, chatting, enjoying having fun.... altogether I can say they were very Happy.

But its really pathetic to see how ppl are making this river dirty. The water is so dirty of this river that you can imagine.

The banks are so muddy that you dont want to have a second look of this.
I have seen some beautiful boat in this river that I can't resist my self to take out my camera in that scary small boat. Check out few of them bellow.

This boat were too far to take pic of that, but thanks to my new 300 mm zoom lense, I was able to capture it quite nicely.
I have seen, in every boat there were to fisherman was sitting. I have tried to find out the logic behind it but couldn't make out anything.

Another fisherman... I took this pic on very high contrast.

These guys are not fisherman. They are taking mud and sand out of the river to clean it.
