Two weeks back on 8th Sep, we went to a famous castle called "Neuschwanstein" situated in southern Bavaria. We took the train from Munich to Fussen. It took 2 hours to reach there. From Fussen we took bus for this castle.
FYI.. Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the 21 finalist candidates in the campaign to choose the New 7 Wonders of the World. (Thanks Priyanka for this info :-))

Neuschwanstein is the most famous of the Imperial Palaces built by Ludwig II. It is a fairytale castle balanced in the mountains with turrets towers

Begun in 1869 and left unfinished at Louis's death in 1886, the construction of the castle was carried out according to a well thought-out plan. The castle was equipped with all kinds of technical conveniences which were very modern; Running water on all floors. The spring which supplied the castle with excellent drinking water was located 200 meters above the castle. There were toilets equipped with automatic flushing on every floor. A warm air heating system for the entire building. A hot water system for the kitchen and the bath.

Dahlia- In europe I found diff kinda folwers. I mean dahlia is comman and I dont have much pix to prove myself here. I am planning for a complete session on flowers. Lets see. Vini, your mom will be very happy to see these beautiful flowers, I know :-)

Swan - Neuschwanstein, which means "New swan stone castle". Swan is symbol of this castle.

I have never seen a museum like this. Its HUGE building...
It was open in 1993 for public and actually famous for great sculpture and beautiful paintings.

U can find all the greatest artist's art here. artist like Leonardo da Vinci and many many more.. I dont know much name.. sorry :(

Finally I was so fortunate to see original The Mona Lisa painting.

Everthing in this museum is written in Franch, So I dont have any idea about this awesome sculptures.
